The spaceframe chassis underneath the Costin Roadster is very reminiscent of early Lotus spaceframes, its well triangulated as well as self determinate and very light, its clear a lot of thought went into the design. One of the features I am most impressed with is how the rear Suspension sits outside the large engine compartment. This can be seen in the basic line drawings below. This will the engine and gearbox a lot of space allowing various options. At the bottom of this page we have included some pictures of the De Dion along with other bolt on components.
